I honestly love keeping things simple when I’m on a weight loss journey 🤍
Instead of overcomplicating everything, I’ve found that having the right drinks throughout the day can make such a big difference. They help me stay on track, feel lighter, and just overall more in control of my routine.
And when I came across this detox drink… something really shifted for me ✨
It felt like my body responded in such a positive way — I had more energy, fewer cravings, and everything just started to feel a little easier and more balanced.
Sometimes it’s the small habits that create the biggest changes 💫
🥤 Ingredients
- 1 cup of hot water
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of raw honey
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of chia seeds

Step 1 – Start with hot water
Begin by pouring 1 cup of hot water into a glass.
This is your base — warm water helps everything dissolve better and makes the drink feel soothing. It also makes it easier for your body to absorb everything you’re about to add.

Step 2 – Add the lemon juice
Now add 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice.
As soon as it hits the water, you’ll notice the smell — fresh, slightly sharp, and clean.
This is where the drink starts to feel refreshing. It instantly makes everything feel lighter and more “alive.”

Step 3 – Apple cider vinegar comes in
Next, add 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar.
This is the part that gives the drink its strong character. The smell becomes more intense, a bit bold — but in a good way.
It’s the ingredient that makes the drink feel like it’s actually doing something.

Step 4 – Sweeten it with honey
Now slowly stir in 1 tablespoon of raw honey.
This is where everything softens.
The sharpness from the lemon and vinegar becomes smoother, more balanced. The drink starts to feel comforting instead of intense.
You’ll see the honey slowly dissolve — it’s a small moment, but it makes a big difference in taste.

Step 5 – Add cinnamon
Add 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
This gives the drink a warm, slightly spicy note.
Suddenly it doesn’t just taste fresh — it feels cozy and grounding. It’s that little touch that makes the drink more interesting and enjoyable.

Step 6 – Chia seeds for texture
Now add 1 teaspoon of chia seeds.
At first, they just float around — but give it a moment.
They slowly start to absorb the liquid and create a slightly thicker texture. It makes the drink feel more “filling” and satisfying, not just like flavored water.

Step 7 – Mix everything gently Stir everything together slowly. You’ll see: the honey fully blending in the cinnamon spreading evenly the chia seeds moving through the drink The color becomes a warm golden-brown, slightly cloudy, but rich and inviting.

Step 8 – Let it sit (optional but powerful) Let the drink sit for 2–5 minutes. This is where the magic happens: chia seeds swell slightly flavors settle and blend the drink becomes smoother and more balanced

I personally love drinking this in the evening, usually about 20–30 minutes before bed 🤍
It just feels like the perfect little ritual to wind down and take care of my body at the same time.
What I’ve noticed is that it helps me feel lighter, less bloated, and more balanced the next day. It’s not about anything extreme — it’s just that gentle feeling of doing something good for yourself ✨
The warm water is calming, the lemon and vinegar feel cleansing, and the honey makes it soft and comforting. Together, it creates this really nice balance that supports your body without feeling harsh.
That’s exactly why I love it so much — it’s simple, it feels natural, and it fits so easily into your routine 💫
