Sometimes I just want something simple that feels fresh, light, and easy on my body, especially when I don’t feel like having anything heavy or complicated. This drink has slowly become one of my favorite little routines because it takes almost no effort but still feels like I’m doing something good for myself. It’s refreshing, naturally balanced, and perfect for those moments when I just want to pause for a second and enjoy something clean and simple.
Ingredients:
- 1 cucumber
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp honey

Step 1:
First, I take the cucumber and wash it really well under cold water so it feels fresh and clean. Then I cut it into small pieces, nothing perfect, just small enough so it blends easily later. While I’m doing that, I also get the lime juice, chia seeds, and honey ready and place everything next to the blender. I like this part because it already feels calm and simple.

Step 2:
Next, I add the cucumber pieces into the blender. After that, I pour in the lime juice, then add the chia seeds, and finally the honey. I make sure to add everything one after another so nothing gets lost or messy. At this point, it already smells really fresh and light.

Step 3:
Now I close the blender and let it run for about one minute. I watch how everything slowly turns into a smooth, light green drink. The texture becomes soft and even, and you can see that everything is nicely combined. If it looks a bit thick, I sometimes add a splash of water and blend it again for a few seconds.

Step 4:
In the end, I pour the drink into a glass. I like adding a few ice cubes so it feels extra refreshing. Then I just take a moment, sit down, and enjoy it slowly. It’s simple, but it feels really good and fresh.

For me, this drink has become one of those small things that just make my day feel a little better. I usually make it in the morning when I want something light and refreshing instead of something heavy, or in the afternoon when I feel like I need a reset. It doesn’t feel like a typical “healthy drink” that you force yourself to drink, it actually tastes fresh and enjoyable.
What I really love is how clean and hydrating it feels. The cucumber and lime make it super refreshing, especially on warm days, and the honey gives it just a soft, natural sweetness without being too much. The chia seeds also make it a bit more satisfying, so it doesn’t feel like I’m just drinking flavored water.
For me, it’s less about doing something “perfect” for my body and more about creating a small moment that feels good and simple. It’s easy, it’s natural, and it fits into my routine without any effort. That’s why I keep coming back to it.
In the end, it’s just one of those little habits that feels refreshing, light, and quietly nourishing at the same time.
